The tour starts from the historic center which still retains sections of the fourteenth-century and fifteenth-century defensive walls, equipped with bastions, and the polygonal tower in defense of the ogival gate of San Rocco, prior to 1200, still almost intact today and once equipped with a drawbridge and with a triangular tower above. We will see the church of the Annunziata, dating back to 1200, whose brick facade is adorned with a Romanesque portal decorated in stone, with a nativity scene inside, a fresco by the master Giovanni Andrea De Magistris, dating back to 1560; the church of San Rocco, built between the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries, a chapel surmounted by a small dome with segments which preserves a Renaissance fresco (1536) and is now used as a council chamber; the "Renzo Contratti Ventura" Museum of Memory, set up inside the former Church of Saints Peter and Paul, an illustration museum dedicated to Lorenzo Contratti, painter, illustrator and caricaturist, a brilliant artist active in the period of the First World War and in the one immediately following, born in Colmurano in 1886.

Then continue towards the Allungo spring, today a public wash house, which preserves its original medieval sources and the fresco of the Madonna and Child. The route then winds through the countryside, with dirt sections downhill through the woods and dirt roads that will take us to the borders with Urbisaglia. Along the way panoramas that range from the sea to the Sibillini, ancient sources, historical aedicules dedicated to the Madonna and the Monastery of Monteloreto, from 1300.The tour is about 17 km long with a total difference in height of 600 m. In addition to paved roads with little traffic, cycle paths and dirt roads, it also has stretches of dirt road downhill. We recommend traveling by mountain bike or e-bike. Possibility of stops along the route with refreshments based on local eno-gastronomic products, picnics, various kinds of workshops organized at local companies.
