For this event dedicated to the observation of shooting stars, we return to one of the places with less light pollution in the Marche! An excursion from sunset to night in the enchanting scenery of the Piani di Montelago! It will be an easy and pleasant walk to discover the nature of this beautiful corner of the Umbria-Marche Apennines.
After sunset, the Brown Dwarfs will guide us in observing the sky and the most famous meteor shower. The Perseids dominate the sky from 17 July to 20 August and the peak is precisely the nights of 12 and 13 August (but on the 12th there is a full moon!). In addition to constellations, planets and shooting stars, at the Piani di Montelago the Milky Way can be seen very well with the naked eye: it will be a magical evening!
