From the Greeks to the present day, on October 28 the "strawberry tree festival" was celebrated, the shrub abundantly present on Monte Conero enough to give it its name! With this excursion precisely on the date that from pagans to Christians celebrates nature and this plant, we will walk the paths of the Conero Park where the Conero is most present and in its most beautiful vegetative season, that is when it presents both its flowers and its berries colored yellow, orange and red! Meeting point: Sirolo (AN), Monte Conero summit car park, Via del Monte Conero, 9.00 am Route: Abbey of San Pietro - South Belvedere - Pian di Raggetti - Rock engravings - Monte Conero. End of excursion: 12.30 approx.

Excursion fee: € 15 (environmental guide service) Discounted fee: 10 € (minors) What to bring (mandatory): hiking shoes or shoes with sculpted sole, mask, alcohol-based sanitizing gel, breathable t-shirt, sweater or fleece, jacket, hat and woolen gloves, 1 liter water, chocolate, dried fruit and kway. Replacement to keep in the car. Poles, binoculars and a camera are recommended.

COVID-19 Note: - During the excursion we will have to keep the interpersonal distance of 2 meters and the masks ready for use (not worn during the progression but only during stops and in closed places that do not allow the distance of 2 m). - Wash your hands with alcohol-based sanitizing gel after touching foreign objects. - It is forbidden to share food and drinks - In compliance with the contagion containment measures, if you suffer from flu-like symptoms (widespread pain, fever, cold, cough), if you have come into contact with people affected by Covid-19 in the last 2 weeks or if you have undergone to the extent of the quarantine, you will not be able to participate in the excursion. - In case of lack of interpersonal protective equipment, it will not be possible to participate in the excursion. - Car-sharing is not possible except for short distances, therefore the meeting point is directly at the place of the excursion.
