We will cycle between the Verdicchio hills of the Castles of Jesi and Lacrima di Morro d’Alba, overlooking the Esino river valley. We will move from a fluvial to a hilly environment with its crops, whether they are olive groves, vineyards or extensive crops such as corn, wheat and sunflower. The circular route, through countless ups and downs that characterize our lands, will make us touch another medieval village, Monte San Vito.
Impossible not to recognize the Collegiate Church of San Pietro Apostolo (1753), with its dome covered with lead plates, and the 15th century Palazzo Malatesta, current seat of the Municipality. Along the way you will be able to see the ancient Cinnamon Spring of the Castle, used until the 1940s, and the source of the well enlarged in the 17th century to ensure the town's water supplies.
